Vendo
Vendo Vincent is a senior business professional with over 30 years of experience in business management, including more than 15 years leading Queensland Security Solutions. His expertise spans strategic business development, operational management, marketing, financial planning for growth, WHS&E compliance, and integrated quality management systems.
He is highly skilled in workforce leadership and personnel management, with extensive experience in recruitment, interviewing, deployment, and training of operational staff. Under his direction, Queensland Security Solutions has developed into a trusted provider of dog security services, mobile patrols, static guarding, venue operations, and onsite security management.
Vendo brings over 20 years of specialist experience in breeding, raising, and training operational security dogs for advanced working roles. He regularly travels to The Netherlands and Belgium to refine his skills and maintain international training standards. In 2018, he completed advanced training in Holland under Bart Bellon and achieved Gold School certification in NePoPo©.
His work includes supplying a significant number of operational patrol dogs to various Australian Police departments, alongside servicing private and international clients.
Vendo holds a Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management, a Certificate IV in Training and Education, Diplomas in Security and Risk Management, and an Advanced Diploma of Workplace Health and Safety.
Human Resources Manager
Mandah
Mandah has had a career in healthcare that has spanned more than two decades as a qualified nutritionist and former nurse. Her experience has primarily been within the Mental Health Sector, where she has focused on supporting clients to manage their mental health conditions through Nutrition, Behavioural Management Strategies and Psychosocial Techniques.
Mandah established Grassroots Health in 2014, where she continues to work as a therapy assistant, support worker and nutritionist. Mandah is experienced in working alongside other healthcare professionals in order to create a tailored health plan to optimise individualised client care, often for those with disabilities or experiencing acute psychiatric episodes. During the early stages of running her own business Mandah also worked as the Practice Manager for an audiology clinic, counselling clinic and multi-modality holistic health centre, where she learned invaluable administrative and managerial skills.
Mandah has taken this experience and moved into her role as the Human Resources Manager for Queensland Security Solutions, where she has been since July 2024. In this role Mandah oversees staff development through setting and supporting the team with meeting KPIs and providing continued opportunities for growth
Chief Operations Manager
David
David started his career in the security sector in 1985, working as a bouncer from the age of 15 in a time where security licenses didn’t exist. In his 40 plus years in the industry, David has seen a lot of changes!
David has run 2 security companies of his own, where he and his team provided bodyguarding services around the world as they escorted a range of clients and their valuables, and other security services before moving across to QSS as a guard in 2000.
While David has always worked in the security industry in some capacity, he has also held several other concurrent roles in warehousing and logistics. The skills he gained from these positions, coupled with hard work and dedication, allowed David to rise through the ranks until he reached the coveted position of Chief Operations Manager in 2015, a position he still holds today.

We are one of very few companies in Australia who train canine handlers in-house. We have even helped support and develop our own breed. Our k9 handlers engage in ongoing training to make sure that they and their k9 teams are ready for any situation.
QSS is associated with a quality RTO, providing excellent security courses and training. We only employ the best graduates from every course, and provide them with ongoing in-house training to make sure they are the best security professionals in Queensland.
